Urban Indigenous Collective Canvas

In our journey towards Reconciliation, our team participated in creating a Collective Canvas with Urban Indigenous.

With the guidance of two Aboriginal Artists we learnt traditional techniques, contemporary trends, core symbols and the art of story telling. It was a thought provoking and fun experience that we highly recommend as a team building event.

The first canvas was a Woggle (Spirit Snake), chosen due to our offices proximity to the Derbarl Yerrigan (Swan River). Our second piece of art symbolises a gathering of people.

Have a look below at some of our photos from the day, a fantastic event thoroughly enjoyed by all.

Rawlinsons (W.A.) acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land where we work and live, the Whadjuk People of the Noogar Nation and we pay our respects to Elders Past, present and emerging.
