Rawlinsons (W.A) have worked on various valuation estimates and recommendations under the Byford Development Contribution Plan; this included the infrastructure related works to Doley Road, San Simeon Boulevard, and Indigo Parkway. Within each of these reports, we had remeasured the infrastructure portion of the works and then compared them to the claim by the Developers’ representative (Consultancy Firm). Following this, we assess the rates and ensure they are reasonable and consistent with both the contract documentation and industry standards. We then reviewed the items claimed against the drawings to ensure that only items related to the infrastructure development were claimed. Rawlinsons (W.A) provided a report detailing our independent assessments of a fair and reasonable claim for each project and recommendations.
Throughout this process, Rawlinsons (W.A) liaised with the Developer’s Representative and Lead Consultant for further information, clarity in the claimed items, and understanding of the variations claimed while providing feedback on their claimed quantities. The Shire then utilised our report to assess a fair and reasonable rebate to the Developer.
