Rawlinsons was engaged by the Department of Finance, Building Management and Works (BMW) in full cost management services, including a bill of quantities, for the construction of Meadow Springs North Primary School.
The project was tendered and completed in two stages;
Stage 1 - Forward works comprising bulk earthworks, site preparation, site services and civil works for the location of transportable buildings ($3 million)
Stage 2 - Construction of seven school buildings complete with hard and soft landscaping, other amenities and building services ($12 million)
Working closely with BMW and the project design team, Rawlinsons reviewed and provided advice throughout the cost planning stage in relation to procurement options, risk identification and coordination issues.
